Job summary

Felician University seeks a faculty member for the Exercise Sport Science program. The 10‑month, full‑time position will teach courses in strength and conditioning, coaching, motor learning and sports psychology, contributing to student success and program development.

Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D. or Ed.D in a related field and maintain CSCS certification, with evidence of teaching excellence and potential for scholarly research in Exercise Sports Science and related domains.

Qualifications

• Earned Ph.D or Ed.D in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field.
• Current CSCS certification; demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research.
• Experience and working knowledge of Exercise Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology and/or Kinesiology; course development.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in strength and conditioning, coaching, motor learning and sports psychology.
• Provide knowledge and skills for careers in Exercise Sports Science and related fields.
• Engage in cross-disciplinary research and program development aligned with the Franciscan mission.
