Stony Brook University in New York seeks a tenure-track philosopher with a record of research and teaching that complements the department's strengths in contemporary thought and the history of philosophy. The successful candidate will design and teach undergraduate courses and graduate seminars, supervise dissertations, and contribute to the department's intellectual community.

Responsibilities include a 2/2 teaching load, advising, and service.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required at time of appointment.
• Demonstrated experience teaching philosophy at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to design and teach graduate courses in Early Modern Philosophy.
• Articulated research agenda.

Responsabilités
