Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus islocated at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for afull-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor ofAerospace Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineeringwith a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-monthcontracted position and is for work to be performed in the state ofGeorgia.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate aerospace engineeringcourses.
  • Developing and maintaining an active and externally fundedresearch program.
  • Engaging in department, college, university and professionalservices appropriate to the position.
  • Advancing the goals and strategic plan of KSU.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOCFaculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications
  • An earned Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent,in aerospace engineering or a closely related discipline isrequired at the time of hire.
