Alliant International University, Inc. invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the Master of Occupational Therapy Program. The position is full-time with compensation USD 84,000 - 90,000 yearly.

The faculty member will teach and mentor students, supervise field placements, and engage in scholarship to advance occupational therapy education and practice. Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree (or terminal degree) and California OT license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree preferred or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California or eligible to be licensed in California (CA).
• Documented teaching experience and scholarship in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating Classroom and Distance/Distributed Learning.
• Course and syllabus preparation.
• Class curriculum coordination and planning.
• Assessment and evaluation of learners.
• Student selection, orientation, and assessment.
• Mentoring and advising of students.
• Field placement supervision and coordination.
• Research/scholarship mentoring and supervision for MA/PhD projects.
• Service to University, Community and Profession as part of duties.
