Appointments may be made for the 2026–2027 academic year. The position requires a master’s degree in occupational therapy, CA licensure or eligibility, NBCOT certification, and a minimum of two years of clinical OT experience, with teaching and curriculum development experience highly

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree awarded by an institution accredited by USDE is required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California or eligible for licensure; licensure must be obtained within 6 months of hire; NBCOT certified.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric or psychosocial OT; documented teaching potential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing teaching responsibilities and curriculum development in OT content as assigned.
• Maintaining timely communication with students, colleagues, and University administration.
• Posting teaching schedules and office hours and coordinating field placements.
• Participating in program and department meetings; contributing to curriculum vitality.
• Grading, attendance tracking, syllabi management, and textbook orders per procedures.
• Perform other related tasks as required by the department.
