Preferred Qualifications

Active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Familiarity with ACOTE accreditation standards. 5 years’ experience teaching entry-level occupational therapy content. Experience mentoring graduate student research or capstone projects. Demonstrated experience with simulation or innovative teaching modalities. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work. Working with online learning management systems to further engage the student learning process desirable. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and other MS office products as needed. Minimum of four years of experience in clinical practice and experience in supervising Fieldwork Level II students. Knowledge of Sacramento medical community and established relationships with professional memberships. Knowledge of accreditation standards such as WASC , ACOTE and other accreditation standards preferred. Experience with LMS , AI, VR/AR Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
