Lamar University in Beaumont, TX invites applications for Assistant Professor of Nursing in the JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing. The position delivers on-campus and online instruction, participates in scholarly activity, and mentors students while aligning with accreditation standards.
Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development, student assessment, and service on committees. Requires a Doctorate in Nursing, active RN license in Texas, and experience in accredited nursing
Provides academic and practicum instruction within the JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing. Plans, coordinates, and conducts on-campus and online classroom and practicum experiences for students. Participates in scholarly and academic activities appropriate to the Assistant Professor rank. Reports to the Associate Dean for Nursing Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Graduate Nursing Studies, and/or the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Nursing Studies.

Able to lift 25 lbs and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings.
