Job summary

The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a full-time Clinician at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position splits 0.85–0.90 clinical FTE with 0.15–0.10 academic focus, performing outpatient and inpatient nephrology duties in the Twin Cities region.

Eligible candidates hold an MD or international equivalent and board certification in Nephrology; a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and scholarly activity is expected.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements include an M.D. or international equivalent and board certification (or eligibility based on successful completion of General Nephrology fellowship program) in Nephrology

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinics at M Health Clinics and Surgery Center; inpatient consult service at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview; potential engagement in renal replacement therapy care at dialysis units in the Twin Cities
