Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for multiple tenure-track assistant professor positions in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, Department of Intelligent Systems Design, in microelectronics, circuits, and system design. We seek candidates who can teach and lead research in analog/mixed-signal ICs, digital VLSI and AI hardware, advanced packaging, and power electronics.

Appointments are ten-month, with preferred start August 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering or a related field and demonstrated excellence in scholarship and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Strong record of research excellence and ability to secure extramural funding.
• Commitment to effective teaching and mentoring in a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust, externally funded research program.
• Teach and mentor students at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Contribute to service within the department, school, and university.
• Collaborate across disciplines to advance microelectronics, circuits and AI hardware design.
