The University of South Florida is seeking an Assistant Professor in Maternal Fetal Medicine to provide comprehensive care and education in a collaborative environment. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida (USF) is recruiting a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to fill its open academic position. This clinician will join our team of seven MFMs providing comprehensive maternal-fetal care, including labor and delivery, antepartum services, obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and perinatal consultation.
Our division has an active fetal therapy program with laser therapy and in-utero surgeries, along with programs managing complex pregnancies such as placenta accreta. Opportunities include medical education, research, and participation in statewide perinatal quality initiatives. The division is involved in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, supported by an ACGME-accredited MFM Fellowship and a 24-resident OB/GYN residency program. Our primary affiliate, Tampa General Hospital, handles over 6,200 deliveries annually and features an 82-bed Level IV NICU.
