We have an active and growing fetal therapy program that includes laser therapy and in-utero surgical procedures, as well as robust clinical programs for managing pregnancies complicated by placenta accreta and other complex medical and surgical conditions.

Clinical activities are complemented by opportunities in medical education and participation in statewide perinatal quality collaborative initiatives. Most of the Division members are actively engaged in clinical/translational research or other innovative clinical programs that match their interests. We have an ACGME-accredited MFM Fellowship and a robust OB/GYN residency program comprised of 24 residents. The MFM Division is actively involved in educating fellows, residents, and medical students. Our primary affiliate, Tampa General Hospital (TGH), boasts more than 6,200 deliveries annually and has an 82-bed Level IV NICU.
