Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field; ABDs may apply but must earn doctorate before appointment.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including labs.
• Commitment to student success through advising, co-curricular activities, and other high-impact practices.
• Focused research agenda with external funding potential.
• Demonstrated publications in peer-reviewed venues in the last three years.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact with a diverse student and colleague body.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the mechanical engineering curricula.
• Develop new courses in emerging areas of mechanical engineering.
• Mentor students on projects and research.
