Job summary

Murray State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Management. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Management area, engage in scholarly research, and participate in service activities as required for tenure.

Anticipated start dates are January 2027 or August 2027; must hold Ph.D. or DBA in Management or related field from an AACSB-accredited business school; ABDs with documented plan may be considered.

Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Abalanced workload which consists of effectively teaching courses inthe area of Management along with research and service that iscommensurate with the awarding of tenure at Murray StateUniversity.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Ph.D. or DBAin Management or related field from an AACSB-accredited BusinessSchool required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion byappointment date will be considered.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

Must have teaching experience at theuniversity level.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

A significant record of publications in peer reviewed journals andevidence of teaching effectiveness preferred. Evidence of thecapacity to teach using three delivery methods (traditional/livecourses, interactive television, and online/web instruction) isalso preferred. Interest and willingness to teach in internationalsettings, including participation in university programs abroad, isalso preferred.
