Job summary

Murray State University seeks a faculty member to teach a variety of undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses and graduate courses in their specialty. The position requires maintaining an ongoing program of research and scholarly activity, and active participation in university and departmental service.

Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, or ABD with a documented plan of completion by the appointment date.

• ABD with a documented plan of completion by appointment date considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses; including Calculus level or below.
• Teach graduate courses in the candidate's specialty.
• Maintain an active program of research and scholarly activity.
• Participate in university and departmental service.
