Job summary

Salary range $91,800–$98,000 for a 9-month appointment, start August 16, 2027.

Qualifications

• PhD in entomology, ecology, evolution, biology, zoology, genetics/genomics, conservation biology, or related discipline.
• Evidence of research productivity and potential for teaching and mentorship at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• PhD may be delayed; if completed within the first appointment year, candidate may be appointed at Instructor rank.

Responsibilities

• Undergraduate and graduate teaching (to be determined based on departmental need).
• Develop an externally funded research program and collaborate on research initiatives across campus.
• Provide service to the department, the university, and the profession.
