The role focuses on accelerating translation of evidence into real-world cancer prevention, screening, treatment and survivorship improvements across South Carolina and beyond.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, DO, DrPH, ScD or equivalent degree with training in implementation science, medicine, epidemiology, public health, informatics and data science, nursing, psychology, anthropology, behavioral science, behavioral economics, health services, health economics, communication, decision sciences, sociology, or other related fields
• Cancer-relevant and implementation science research experience
• Peer-reviewed publication experience, commensurate with career stage

Responsibilities

• Apply implementation science methods to optimize cancer prevention and control innovations and practices
• Mentor early-stage investigators and contribute to academic leadership
• Collaborate across clinicians, researchers, community partners and health systems to advance translation of evidence into practice
