The History Department of the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure‑track assistant professor in any field of early modern or modern Chinese history. The appointment will begin September 1, 2027. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in History or a closely related field by August 31, 2027, have an active research agenda, and demonstrate excellence in teaching.
