Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine (Hematology/Oncology BMT) to provide patient-centered care for hematologic disorders and participate in the education of medical trainees. Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent required.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine required or eligible.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based clinical care for patients with hematologic malignancies, including leukemia and transplantation evaluation in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical rotations, rounds, conferences, and case-based learning.
  • Contribute to clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and participate in divisional meetings and activities.
