York College of Pennsylvania Inc. invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Graphic Design in the BFA program beginning in August 2027.

The candidate will teach foundational and advanced courses with emphasis on UX/UI design and motion graphics. The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, mentor undergraduate students, and maintain an active scholarly or professional practice that supports the college community and its partnerships with

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Media, Visual Communication, or closely related field (MFA or equivalent).
• Demonstrated expertise in UX/UI Design and Motion Graphics software/workflows.
• Evidence of an active, high-level professional practice or scholarly record.
• A clear commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence and student mentorship with a minimum of two years of college-level teaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach four 3-credit courses per semester (Fall and Spring).
• Provide mentorship to students via academic advising.
• Service to the college community.
• Maintain an active scholarly and/or creative practice.
