Old Dominion University's Finance Department is seeking an Assistant Professor of Finance to commence in July 2025. The position requires a Ph.D. in Finance and a commitment to high-quality teaching and research, offering an opportunity to contribute to the academic community.
The Finance Department in The Strome College of Business (SCB) at Old Dominion University invites nominations and applications for Assistant Professor of Finance to begin in July 2025, and an annual 10-month appointment. We seek a candidate with a strong record in research commensurate with experience, to teach corporate finance both face to face and in on-line formats.

Minimum Qualifications:
1.A Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited university, or international equivalent.
2.The candidate will possess an earned doctorate in Finance by July 25,2025, from an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited university.
3.Have evidence of a strong interest in conducting high-quality research.
4.A commitment to providing a quality educational experience to students.
5.Documented evidence of quality teaching.
