The successful candidate will teach a broad range of courses including creative writing workshops, genre courses, literature, and introductory offerings, guiding students through a senior capstone and the Harbinger publication process.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or MFA in Creative Writing, Literature, English, or an allied field.
• Evidence of commitment to undergraduate education and mentorship.
• Strong record of creative accomplishments and mentorship of students.
• Experience teaching at the collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Teach creative writing workshops and literature courses; 12 credit hours per semester.
• Contribute to programmatic revision and curricular innovation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on shared student experiences.
• Serve as academic advisor to English/Creative Writing students.
• Assist with student recruitment initiatives with college partners.
• Provide service to the program, College, and profession.
