Job summary

Purdue University Fort Wayne invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, starting Fall 2027 for a nine-month academic year.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses (including electromagnetics, RF, and microwave topics), advise students, mentor graduate research, and contribute to First-Year Engineering courses (ENGR 12700 and ENGR 12800).

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; ABD candidates considered if degree earned before employment.
• Demonstrated potential to establish a productive research agenda, with focus on electromagnetics, RF, or microwave engineering.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses (electromagnetics, RF, microwave) and advise undergraduates; mentor master’s students.
• Contribute to First-Year Engineering courses (ENGR 12700, ENGR 12800).
• Establish an active agenda of research, scholarship and/or creative endeavors.
• Contribute to department, college/school, university, community, and professional service.
