Qualifications

• Earned Ph.D. or Doctor of Engineering by the time of appointment.
• Expertise in security of hardware, IoT, embedded or cyber-physical systems.
• ABD status acceptable if degree conferred before appointment begins.
• Commitment to teaching excellence with hands-on experiential learning.
• Demonstrated potential for scholarly activity and ability to secure external funding.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on department and university growth.
• Demonstration of excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses primarily in cyber engineering technology and electronics systems engineering technology.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity and computer science as appropriate.
• Contribute to impactful research and mentoring of both undergraduate and graduate students.
• Contribute to the service mission of the university.
