Job summary

Texas A&M University’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for tenured/tenure-track or tenure-review on hire faculty at all ranks for a nine-month appointment beginning Fall 2027, with possible summer appointment contingent upon funds. The successful applicant will teach, advise, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; develop and maintain an externally funded research

Qualifications

• Must have a doctorate in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field.
• Candidates who have completed all Ph.D. requirements except the dissertation will be considered, provided they show progress toward completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program with high visibility through publications.
