About the Job

The Assistant Professor will undertake responsibilities in research, service, teaching, and mentoring within the Division of Computational Health Sciences (CHS) in the Department of Surgery and the Center for Learning Health System Sciences (CLHSS). Key duties include developing research in applied real-world data science, leading or participating in research projects, and contributing to the development of the profession through various activities. The role also involves leading efforts in real-world data analysis to support learning health systems, collaborating with stakeholders, and conducting high-quality healthcare improvement research.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in health informatics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven research involvement in health informatics, published or accepted in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Effective communication skills for teaching and research dissemination.
  • Expertise in analysis techniques across various application areas.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary research teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
