Gannon University seeks an Assistant Professor/Clinical Coordinator for the Physician Assistant Program in Ruskin, Florida. The twelve-month, either tenure-track or teaching-track position begins as early as September 2026.

Qualifications

• Master PA-S degree (or MD/DO) required; 3–5 years of full-time clinical experience.
• Current NCCPA certification; eligible for PA/MD/DO licensure in Florida.
• Post-professional doctorate is preferred but not required.

Position Summary:

Gannon University's Morosky College of Health Professions andSciences invites applications for a full-time Clinical Coordinatorand faculty member in the Physician Assistant Program in Ruskin,Florida.

The appointment for this twelve-month, tenure-track orteaching-track position begins as early as September 2026.Responsibilities include identifying and developing clinical sites,working with clinical year students according to establishedstandards, preparation of student examinations, and providingresearch guidance to graduate-level students. The successfulcandidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues,support an interprofessional learning environment, teach and advisestudents, and participate in service activities to support theUniversity, community, and profession.

Qualified candidates will be expected to engage in scholarlyactivities in keeping with the Boyer Model of Scholarship asappropriate to the application and receipt of tenure and promotionat Gannon. Required Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: Master of PhysicianAssistant Science degree (or equivalent) or a medical degree (M.D.or D.O.) is required; three-to-five (3-5) years of full-timeclinical experience is required.

• Licenses and Certifications: Current NCCPAcertification required; candidates must have or be eligible for PA,MD, or DO licensure in Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:
