  • PhD in Oceanography or related field by time of appointment.
  • Postdoctoral experience desirable but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program.
  • Teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
  • Advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Participate in departmental and college activities and service.
