Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor (Clinical)

Position overview

The Department of Dermatology seeks an outstanding allergy/immunology physician to join a clinical track and a two-allergist, >40 dermatologist practice in Murray, UT. The candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and in Allergy/Immunology. The practice offers a full-service outpatient A/I clinic, including spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy, drug desensitization, and pioneering oral immunotherapy for food allergy outside the research setting. As part of an NIH-funded research program, the physician will also participate in clinical trials and research, including projects with asthmatic children on the Navajo Nation and development of novel detection methods for EoE.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding clinical care and service to patients with allergic and immunologic conditions.
  • Perform spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy, drug desensitization, and oral immunotherapy for food allergy.
  • Participate in NIH-funded research and clinical trials, including pediatric asthma programs and EoE detection methods.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary dermatology team to advance patient-centered service and innovation.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and ethics.

Qualifications

  • Board certified in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
  • Board certified in Allergy/Immunology.
  • Training at a leading A/I institution.
  • Outstanding references and a record of excellent clinical care.
  • Comfort working with both children and adults; pediatric-only practitioners may be considered.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to maintaining a competitive private-practice style salary.
