The successful candidate will be a composer with a record of superior artistic work and sustained creative activity appropriate to their professional stage, complemented by technical expertise and technological research that advance the department’s legacy of innovation in music technology and interdisciplinary collaboration across the university and beyond. Responsibilities will include service in the Computer Music Center’s rotating Director role; teaching, curricular development, and advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including university-wide and non-major offerings; and active engagement in area, departmental, and university service. A doctoral degree in Composition or a related field is required by the time of appointment.
