Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Architecture from a professionally accredited institution recognized by U.S. standards.
• Professional licensure in architecture.
• Demonstrated professional experience in architectural practice.
• Evidence of engagement in community‑based, public‑interest, or applied design work.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students in a professional‑practice context.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professionally grounded coursework in architectural practice, including project delivery, ethics, and practice operations.
• Mentor students pursuing internships, licensure pathways (AXP/ARE), and career placement.
• Lead or contribute to community-engaged design studios and initiatives with local organizations.
• Cultivate industry and community partnerships to expand experiential learning opportunities.
• Support NAAB accreditation and assessment efforts through documentation of practice and engagement activities.
