UNLV in Las Vegas seeks a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor-in-Residence in Developmental Disabilities and Applied Behavior Analysis to begin July 1, 2027. The role focuses on teaching, advising, recruiting, and curriculum development for licensure in special education and ABA certification.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Special Education required.
• Experience teaching or working with people with disabilities.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
• Two to three years of verified experience with people with disabilities in educational or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in special education and ABA.
• Advise, recruit, and mentor students in licensure and ABA programs.
• Develop and update curriculum and collaborate across departments.
• Engage in scholarship and seek external funding for research.
