• Preferred: connect research and teaching of Ancient Medicine to Medical Humanities and History of Science.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active research agenda and publish internationally, with potential external funding.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Ancient Medicine in its wider social and cultural context, and Greek and/or Latin languages as needed.
• Supervise and mentor diverse students in a public, land‑grant, research‑intensive institution.
• Contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary programs across campus, including Quest, Beyond 120, and the Center for Greek Studies.
