The UC College of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking an Adjunct Assistant Professor (25% FTE) who will be the new course co-director for the Fundamentals of Doctoring (FOD) course series, to begin in July 2025. The Fundamentals of Doctoring course series is a longitudinal pre-clerkship experience for M1/M2s that focuses on teaching the fundamentals of doctoring and developing students' identity as a physician. This course provides students with their first exposure to clinical medicine. The overall goal of FOD is to help students prepare for M3 clerkships and beyond by learning and acquiring the clinical skills and knowledge used in nearly every encounter that are foundational to patient care.
