Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Accounting Department to begin Fall 2027, pending budget approval. Candidates must be near completion of a terminal degree and hold professional certification in accounting.

Applicants will be evaluated on teaching and research potential in any area of accounting, with emphasis on innovative approaches and the use of technology in the classroom.

Job Description

The Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Accounting Department, beginning Fall 2027 and subject to budget approval. Candidates must have/be near completion of a terminal degree. Professional certification in accounting is required. All teaching and research areas will be considered. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to innovation and demonstrated excellence in using technology in the classroom, and quality research.
