The Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in the Accounting Department, beginning Fall 2027 and subject to budget approval.

Candidates must have or be near completion of a terminal degree, hold a professional certification in accounting, and demonstrate a commitment to innovation and excellence in technology use in the classroom, as well as quality research.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within Accounting.
• Conduct research that contributes to the field of Accounting and to the reputation of the Dolan School of Business.
• Serve in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities.
• Demonstrate commitment to innovative use of technology in teaching.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Accounting or related field (or be in final year of completion).
• Current professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA).
• Excellent record of scholarship and teaching.
• Commitment to innovative pedagogy and use of technology.
• Strong service record is an asset.
