Job description

The Department of Management at the University of Texas at Arlington ( UTA ) seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor tenure track position in Organizational Behavior OR Human Resources. The preferred applicant will have completed their PhD in Management Organizational Behavior Human Resources Management or a closely related field. We seek individuals who are well-equipped to contribute to our research aspirations by demonstrating their ability to publish in universally regarded elite journals in either organizational behavior or human resources management Also critical is a demonstrated capacity to teach organizational behavior human resource management or general management courses at all degree levels and the ability to work well in a collegial interdisciplinary department.

Faculty in the Department of Management are required to : Conduct research and maintain a strong record of academic output such as publication of peer-reviewed journal articles and presentations at national conferences. Teach effectively at the graduate and undergraduate level depending on needs and qualifications. Participate as a member of the Department College and University through appropriate service activities.

Required Qualifications

A PhD in management organizational behavior human resource management or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited university is required to be considered. We seek individuals who have a demonstrated capability to teach organizational behavior or human resources management courses at all degree levels who are dedicated to student success and who are committed to working in a collegial interdisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have published their research in top journals in their field and demonstrate a robust pipeline of ongoing research have teaching experience have experience contributing back to our field through service opportunities.
