Qualifications

  • Terminal degree in a field related to immersive experiences, mixed reality, or entertainment design by the date of appointment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in XR, motion graphics, interactive media, and immersive production environments.
  • Ability to develop and pursue external grant funding and scholarly/creative outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in extended reality, motion graphics, TouchDesigner, interactive media, and immersive design.
  • Maintain an active research/creative program using the XR lab to support immersive experiences and related inquiries.
  • Actively pursue grant funding and coordinate curricula for the entertainment design program.
  • Develop curricula and contribute to program development within ETBD and CCA.
  • Provide service to the University and participate in advising and interdisciplinary student projects.
