Position Description:

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking assistant, associate, and full professors to be part of its growing clinical, education, and research missions in the sub-specialty area of Adult Reconstruction Surgery.

Position Highlights:

1. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at MCW includes 45 clinical faculty members, 3 active research faculty members, 52 advanced practice providers, 25 residents, and 4 fellows.
2. Affiliated clinical sites include Froedtert Hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, Froedtert West Bend Hospital, Children’s Wisconsin (CW), Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC), and several ambulatory surgery centers in SE Wisconsin.
3. The total joint program currently consists of 6 teams practicing in both academic and community settings, skilled in hip and knee primary and revision arthroplasty reconstructive procedures.
4. Ability to perform same-day arthroplasty procedures at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and the new Menomonee Falls ASC Orthopaedic Center of Excellence.
5. Enjoy strong interdisciplinary collaboration with anesthesia, infectious disease, rheumatology, plastic surgery, and other specialists for optimal patient care.
6. Access to advanced surgical technology, including robotic platforms and navigation systems.
7. Support for research through MCW’s resources and internal funding opportunities.
8. Participation in developing and implementing a comprehensive Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction Fellowship.
9. Join a collaborative division dedicated to providing high-quality care for primary and complex/revision arthroplasty cases.
