Position Overview

The Division of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will join a collaborative geriatrics team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and PhDs. This role involves clinical care, teaching, and participation in administrative and educational activities. Flexible work hours may include evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Seniors Clinics at University of Colorado Hospital (UCH).
• Share responsibilities for night, weekend, and vacation coverage within the group practice.
• Participate in practice operations and decision-making.
• Teach students, residents, and fellows in a primary care setting.
• Contribute to curriculum development for medical students, fellows, CME programs, and Physician Assistant trainees.
• Supervise clinical training for PA students, fellows, and other para-professional trainees.

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Colorado medical license and active DEA registration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in adult education.
• Fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine.
• ACLS certification.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $200,000–$210,000 plus incentives.
