Job Purpose

The Department of Computer Science seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in AI, machine learning, and data science. Candidates will contribute to curriculum development, research, and student mentoring.

Essential Functions

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily in AI, machine learning, and data science.

Develop and enhance curriculum related to computer science pedagogy.

Conduct and publish research; pursue external funding.

Direct student projects and research at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.

Advise students on professional development and career opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate in Computer Science, AI, data science, or closely related field from an accredited institution by start date.
