Job summary

UniFirst seeks an Assistant Production Manager to lead training, uphold standards, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced facility. You will guide a diverse team, foster collaboration, and apply financial acumen to production decisions.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll optimize processes, meet targets, maintain safety, and coordinate with multiple departments to align with enterprise goals. This role offers growth opportunities in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant leadership experience with team building.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<25%).
• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of production management with leadership and process improvement.
• Financial literacy to analyze production costs and decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and Lean Six Sigma.
• Commitment to safety and compliance initiatives.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
