About the Role We are hiring an Assistant Production Manager to help lead daily production operations and support a growing list of responsibilities that are critical to our efficiency and performance. This role is ideal for a dependable, organized, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and values teamwork and accountability. Key Responsibilities Assist the Production Manager in planning and coordinating daily workflow Manage and organize off-site inventory to ensure accurate tracking and availability Oversee fleet maintenance, ensuring company vehicles remain in safe, working condition Schedule and track routine forklift maintenance and certifications Manage facility maintenance tasks, vendors, and service scheduling Assist with purchasing inventory and shop supplies to maintain production readiness Support the company's safety program, including documentation and compliance Help check in materials and verify shipments match purchase orders Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support team-wide problem solving Provide cross-functional support between production, shipping, and purchasing teams What You Bring 3+ years of experience in production, operations, or facility support Strong organizational and multitasking skills Clear communication and ability to work collaboratively across departments Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate a production environment safely Forklift driving experience is a plus (certification preferred) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory systems a plus Why Golterman & Sabo?
