Job Summary

The Assistant Producer will perform highly technical workrelated to the coordination, set up, production, and delivery oflive broadcasts to campus and external constituents such asESPN+/3. The position will also work directly with Senior Producersto execute the production of Blue and White weekly, coaches shows,and broadcast packages for ESPN+/3. The Assistant Producer willalso teach and train students while executing the vision for GATAProductions.

Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality, creative, and compelling content insupport of live broadcasts and athletic productions
  • Assist in the basic technical maintenance of video productionequipment and facilities
  • Allocate video production assets, including hardware, software,studio, and other resources used for designing and implementingtelevision and Internet delivery of live and on-demand content
  • Provide onsite support on evenings and weekends for livebroadcasts and on-demand content
  • Serve as Producer, Associate Producer, Technical Director, andAssistant Director for athletic productions including long-formtelevision and packages for ESPN+/3
  • Maintain and prepare the control room for athleticproductions
  • Assist in the teaching and training of student staff for theneeds of GATA Productions

    • Previous network or broadcasting experience on regional ornational level. Experience in a professional live broadcasttruck or control room
Proposed Salary

$19.71 - $22.12 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweeklybasis.
