Job summary

FLOCO Foods is hiring for a Produce/Floral Department host to deliver friendly, high‑quality guest service in a fast‑paced grocery environment. You will help manage inventory, assist with merchandising, and ensure product quality and safety across the department.

You will work closely with the team to meet sales goals, provide training to hosts, and uphold FLOCO Foods standards in sanitation and customer care. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of produce operations.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the produce/floral department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales and profits for the produce/floral department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of products meets FLOCO Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to FLOCO Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to hosts for satisfactory performance.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, conditioning, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department staffing and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
