• Available Work Shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:00AM-2:30PM
• Duration of coverage: 3 months

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and merchandising the produce department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality, and supervise the produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, goal setting, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards, including receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, and rotation.
• Lead brainstorming to ensure high-quality products and customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the produce team.
• Handle deliveries, operate produce equipment, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math, weights, and measures knowledge.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, with good communication skills and team participation ability.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use a pallet jack and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
