  • Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC) is searching for an Assistant Principal/Supervisor of CTE.

    Key Responsibilities:
    The Assistant Principal/Supervisor of CTE will work in a cohesive team at the campus level with the campus principal and the system-wide leadership team. Major responsibilities include supervision of assigned staff members, working closely with student services; student management, intervention, and discipline; school-wide activities including student organizations and school safety; attaining and maintaining industry certifications; and assisting with the administration of policies, procedures, and annual goals.

    Certification Requirement:
    The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership experience in CTE as an instructor or administrator and a strong desire to work in a student-centered, fast-paced, high-achieving, collaborative environment where data-driven continuous improvement is integral to the school culture and success is recognized and celebrated. Evidence of a strong professional work ethic, track record, and PDE Supervisor of CTE or Administrative Director certification is required.

    Candidates who do not yet hold the PDE Professional Administrative or Supervisory certification but have the qualifications and experience to obtain it will also be considered. Such candidates will serve as Dean of Students until they obtain the required PDE certification, which must be completed by June 30, 2026.
