Monmouth Memorial School is seeking an Assistant Principal/Student Services Coordinator to lead instructional initiatives, support learners and staff, and collaborate with the Principal and district administrators.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or related field.
• Maine K-12 Assistant Principal certification and Special Education admin endorsement.
• 3–5 years PreK–8 teaching; 2+ years in administration.
• Knowledge of MTSS, IEP management, PEPG frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Assistant Principal for elementary and middle school.
• Foster a positive school culture and climate.
• Lead instructional design and data-driven decision making.
• Develop and lead instructional leadership teams.
• Mentor special education staff and provide professional development.
• Facilitate IEP and 504 meetings and PLG activities.
• Support staff with referrals, documentation, interventions.
• Model positive interactions with learners and families.
• Enforce consistent student behavior and support behavior systems.
