Qualifications

• Candidate must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Principal or Supervisor Certification in one of the following areas: School Principal (Tier I or Tier II), Secondary Principal (Tier I or Tier II), Secondary Principal, or Secondary Supervisor.
• Three years of teaching and/or administrative experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the principal, teachers and instructional staff in coordinating and improving the instructional program for assigned grade levels.
• Assist with daily school administrative functions including enrollment of students, scheduling, and enforcing student discipline policies; supervise and coordinate assigned personnel.
• Ensure adherence to school and district policies, regulations, and goals; operate under occasional supervision.
