Qualifications

• Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid SCDE Principal or Supervisor Certification in one of the following areas: School Principal (Tier I or II), Secondary Principal (Tier I or II), Secondary Principal, or Secondary Supervisor supplemented by at least three years of teaching and/or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the principal, teachers, and staff in coordinating and improving the instructional program for assigned grades.
• Assist with daily school administrative functions including enforcing student discipline policies and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of assigned personnel and ensure adherence to district policies and goals.
• Under occasional supervision, support school leadership and district initiatives.
