Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE assistant principal certification.
• Five years of successful teaching or administrative experience at the secondary level.
• Demonstrated administrative and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with ESSA, SIP, and IDEA.

Responsibilities

• Assist the principal in the overall administration of the school.
• Collaborate with the Middle School administrative team.
• Oversee curriculum supervision and instruction for the Middle School.
• Coordinate curriculum development and implementation with the principal, directors, and teachers.
• Administer the school's testing program, including MCAS.
• Lead professional development initiatives.
• Assist in developing annual budget requests.
• Use data to inform practice and decision making.
• Engage with parent, faculty, and student groups to advance educational activities.
• Manage student behavior in partnership with teachers and staff.
• Supervise co-curricular and athletic activities as necessary.
• Schedule teachers and students; assist with attendance and events.
